A session shouldn't feel like a photo appointment. We walk, we talk, and the pictures happen along the way. At places that suit you: parks and gardens, historic courtyards, old façades or the city at night.
Whether it's an application photo, a portrait for yourself or a session for two: the price is per session, not per person.

From first message to final images
Tell me briefly what you need the images for. An application photo, portraits for yourself or a session for two. That determines which locations fit and how we go about it. I usually reply within a day.
I deliberately schedule sessions for the morning or the later afternoon. At midday the sun sits too high, which creates harsh shadows on the face. And if it's overcast: all the better. Soft light is ideal for portraits.
You'll receive a PDF with everything you need to know: meeting point, route with timings, the weather forecast for the day and outfit tips with reasons. You know exactly what will happen and what it costs before you commit.
We start with a few minutes of talking, not with the camera. I briefly explain how the next hour will go, and then we simply have a conversation. This isn't small talk out of politeness: someone who feels at ease looks different in photos than someone standing tense in front of a lens.
You don't need to know how to pose. I'll tell you where to stand and where to look. And if you have your own ideas, even better. By the end it should feel like you spent a good hour and almost forgot that photos were being taken.
I review every frame, select the strongest and edit them. Within 7 working days you'll get them through a private gallery to download, in full resolution. If you'd like a say in the selection, just tell me, then we go through them together.
What it costs
One price per session, whether you come alone or as a couple.

Before the session you'll get outfit tips in your shooting PDF: which colours work and what looks restless in photos. In short: calm tones, no large logos or patterns. If you like, bring a second outfit.
No. The price is per session, not per person.
At least 20 edited images from a 60-minute session. In practice it's often more. I deliver what turned out well, not what I promised.

Then I'll suggest two or three alternative dates. If it's only light rain and you're up for it, we'll do it anyway. Wet cobblestones and umbrellas often make for better images than bright sunshine.
Yes. If you already have a place in mind, that's where we'll go. I check beforehand whether there's construction work or an event happening, and I'll tell you honestly if a spot doesn't work photographically. And if you have no idea, I'll suggest places that suit you.
No. An unedited frame is like a negative, deliberately flat and low in colour so there's room to work in post. That's where the look you're booking me for is created. I only hand over images I stand behind.
Of course, the images are yours. I'm always glad to be credited as the photographer, but it's not required. In return, I always ask you first before showing an image on my website or social media. Nothing happens without your okay.
